What new developments do you expect in the future as a result of AI?
• AI technologies such as MTQE and LLMs will help improve MT quality, AI transcription and dubbing
as well as make reliable AI interpreting (STS) a reality.
• Automating already existing as well as new services that use AI as core technology. Developing AI-
based tools that allow us to reach our specific goals seamlessly.
• Better quality.
• Business process automation tools
• Deliverables where only portions are human-edited, due to automated quality scores
• Easier and cheaper marketing content, improved workflows through AI led automation, Improved
accuracy of AI language products with more seamless and lower cost implementation
• Entire work flow may change. Hence we are waiting for proper direction.
• Exactly Human thinking
• Expand and enhance the service to the next level, while focusing on the quality.
• Expanded service choices for our clients. Lowering our costs while maintaining current client pricing.
• For my company, mostly QA and QC improved tools. Then extended services for our clients
• Improvement and enlargement of training data
• Improvements in customer service and language workflows.
• Improving on accuracy of results.
• In many use cases, LLMs will replace NMT in the future with enhanced capabilities
• Increase in information translated and encounters interpreted, this will drive increase for human
validation and will drive demand for services up.
• Job disruption. Lower quality from vendors with regard to Machine Translation as it appears so fluent
but can be inaccurate and easy to miss. Needing for extra or new review cycles.
• Keep competitiveness though tech application
• LLM-based post-editing
• More data protection-safe development
• Much better integrations, target language content creation without translation, auto QA.
• New multilingual content management tools, “post TMS tools”, ...
• New service offerings, new type of skills needed, new job roles, gradual fade-out of human translation
• shift towards voice less graphical UI
• To be a co-pilot for the work of people in all business areas in order to avoid repetitive tasks.
• We are looking forward to increased levels of integrations between systems and AI solutions.
• We expect translation will be increasingly difficult to charge for. Currently considering how and when
to pivot the business.
• We will see new types of CAT tools arise. The process as it works today with word counts and
breakdowns will be changed to hourly based compensation.
