In a few words, how do you think AI will impact the future of
the localization industry?
Positive
• AI technologies such as MTQE and LLMs will help improving MT quality, allow for larger scale of
localisation by reducing reliance on humans in the workflow. Pricing and remuneration models will
evolve as well.
• AI will serve a support for those people involved in the more operational tasks. Linguists will be at the
forefront of the revolution and their contribution will be more and more essential.
• Being able to perform time-consuming and repetitive tasks
• Excellently
• It will further accelerate industry growth. It will also change the way we work and deliver services.
• It will get more content into more languages, improving accessibility. Hopefully, valid and credibly
translated content.
• It will require us to be both more specialized and offer more diverse services
• Positively, provided it supports human-related activities.
• Positively. Life is about change, and this is a BIG new change that we must embrace and learn to work
with, not fight it.

• As we are an evolving industry and always have been, we will continue to evolve. Nothing has ever
stayed the same in the last 25 years -so why should it now?
• Change technology, processes, tasks and roles
• Hugely
• I think it will replace a lot of functions currently in place, but also create new opportunities. We must
be open to these and drive that development rather than let it drive us.
• I think that this is unclear still, but that we need to move more to ‘human in the loop’ is clear
• It could replace it completely, but we are far off from that.
• It will change it radically. The tricky thing is to know in which direction to go so as not to make
a mistake.
